Mumia Abu-Jamal is a renowned journalist, author, activist, husband, father and grandfather from Philadelphia who has been in prison since 1981 for allegedly shooting Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner. Despite overwhelming evidence of his innocence, prosecutorial misconduct, constitutional violations in his trial, police coercion of witnesses and documented racism, he remained on death row in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. He is known as the “Voice of the Voiceless” for his award- winning reporting on police brutality and other social and racial epidemics that plague communities of color in Philadelphia and throughout the world. Mumia has received international support over the years in his efforts to overturn his unjust conviction and continues to fight!!

I first learned of Mumia Abu-Jamal two weeks ago. His face had always been familiar to me ironically, but I did not know his story! To hear of this man's struggle for freedom moved me as I drove the streets of Atlanta listening to WRFG 89.3. The voice of Dr. Cornell West rang as he spoke on the importance of supporting the Freedom of Mumia!! Desmund Tutu has also called for the release of Mumia.

It surprises me that Mumia has been locked up for 30 years on death row and the USA Government have not killed him. Whether or not it is the federal or state prisons that have not gone through with his death penalty is beyond me. I mean it just baffles me the POWER of this man, his connections, and intelligence. Mumia still claims his innocence and no true evidence has been found to pinpoint him to this heinous crime, yet he remains detained. He is no longer on death row as of December 2011, which means he is now in general population after being in solitude for 30 years.

I truly believe that God is on this mans side! Many have died on death row with less chances then he (Troy Davis), yet Mumia remains. I believe the movement which thrives on the very essence of Mumia's freedom is one that is pivotal to the African American People and our RISE in the Amercian Culture. It's high time for the silence to end and the PEOPLE of the nation to rise up.

Troy Davis:Executed without Evidence

Dear brothers and sisters: It saddens me to write about this particular execution. There are many that have happened in the USA before this one and unfortunately if nothing is done more to follow. First, let me say that I am against the DEATH PENALTY!! Always have been and always will be! I believe it is not right for one to take the life of another to punish them for crimes committed against humanity unless God forbid an extreme measure is presented. I believe the party at hand should be imprisoned for life.

Because I am a devout spiritual being, I know that even God allows the unjust another chance. Troy Davis was convicted of shooting a cop in Savannah, GA back in 1989. Officer Mark MacPhail was working as a security guard at a Burger King restaurant when he intervened to defend a man being assaulted in a nearby parking lot... I won't go into much more detail of this story please research it for yourself when you get time to. I have listed on source site below:

Up until the time of his death Troy Davis declared his innocence and his last words to Officer MacPhail's family was:"I did not personally kill your son, father and brother. I am innocent,” and to those who executed him he said:“May God have mercy on your souls. May God bless your souls.” I must say that today I am saddened because I think back to the Casey Anthony case where minimal time served was sufficient. This man served 20+ years and with no evidence really at hand, along with many recanted statements. Witnesses now say they were coerced by the police to accuse Mr. Davis.

How is it, that he still gets the death penalty? I believe the system should have deliberated longer and used modern technology to look for evidence. Sadly Troy's life has ended and many mourn, not just for Troy but for a Justice system that seems to be so UNJUST. Fortunatley God has the last say so and even though I disagree with how things ended, God knew this day would come and how it would end.

I pray for those family members of Officer MacPhail's family as well as Troy Davis family. It is time for US Citizens to rise up and speak against all the heinous situations in the justice system. Many are executed all the time unjustly without enough evidence. Then there are those who are guilty and should be punished, but to death? I beg to differ..

As America believes in serving penalty to those who committ crimes, I believe the People of the USA should do everything in our power to insure the fairness of our system. Time for us to take action and rise up against the UNJUST that lies within our JUSTICE system. Truly yesterday September 21, 2011 is one that me and my family will never forget. Time to take action!! RIP Troy Davis.. Living in the USA has become a thought of the past. Many dream to get to the land of the Brave the home of the free, But me I am inspired to live beyond those dreams and fantasies. I live in this country yet I know the truths of poverty and ill stricken areas. No it's not like a third world country, but must we go forgotten and unspoken of?

The media of today portrays the USA as a well put together place when actuality it is far from that. Yet many struggle to get an education and vocation which will better their trade. Others struggle to make ends meet. No diploma or degrees to show just life experiences in survival of the fittest. I believe each day of life given is an opportunity for new graces and new mercies from on high. Yet we exist only because of a higher power.

Yes I believe in the Creator! I believe that there is one who is beyond reproach. One who fashioned this very world we now live in. One who holds the world in palm. The universe is not so vast that God does not know its interiors. Yet we live in a world that has many opportunties with few limitations. So I dare not to dwell in the statues of limits, but reaching beyond those things, I began to achieve my goals making my own path.

For I truly believe it were not for my creator the days would cease to come for me and life would be without abundant living. Today is a new day and I have chosen to write about it. What will you do with your day and opportunity given? This is just a thought. The USA is where I was given to live so therefore the foundation for my destiny lies within this land. So I shall go forth and seek out my destiny for truly it sees me.

My thoughts on Lil Wayne's new Single "How To Love"....

First upon hearing this single I was intrigued by the beat and melodious melody and raspy vocals of the artist Lil Wayne! I was waiting for some vulgar degrading lyrics but instead I was intrigued by the deep meaning beyond what was being vocalized. This song is intriguing in so many ways. For me it exemplifies the raw talent that lies within the artist and how he is capable of digging deeper than what has been recently displayed in records regarding women. Lately I have been inspired to pay special attention to this artist for I believe that a different connotation will soon come from him and it will affect his audeience tremendously.

In a recent interview with Rolling Out Lil Wayne speaks on the inspiration for his single "How to Love"... “That song is just sweeping the world. It’s touching every woman, that’s what it was for,” he said. “It was like Tupac had ‘Keep Ya Head Up’ and it was a message to women and little girls across the world just to keep your head up even though things are hard. That’s what my song was. A lot of women don’t know how to love because there’s deep reasons for them not knowing how to love,” Lil Wayne explained. “And what I mean by deep reasons is deep and dark reasons. A lot of people don’t open up that can, and I figured that I can open up that can of worms and see what happens.”

It speaks to me (SistahKenya) because I know the struggle of this woman on the road to learning How To Love. Although it seems that Lil Wayne is still targeting a sterotypical woman (a stripper) I do believe some women will be able to relate to this song if they are honest with themselves. The Carter IV is set to come out in August 2011 and many are anxious to hear what Lil Wayne will bring to the industry next. At the tender age of 28 Dewayne Michael Carter seems to be in his prime, but much talk of him retiring has been the hot topic.

In the July/Aug issue of XXL Lil Wayne speaks of retiring soon to raise his children attentively. He qoutes "Honestly, this is the truth. I think it's unfair to my kids. I am super dedicated into what I do. Like, it's no questions hands down, I do this, I live this. I don't have a day out of my week that I do something else....." "Like I said it's unfair to my kids so about 30,31,32 I gotta get ready. I got three boys and one daughter. She's gonna be a teenager and they gonna be growing up. They gonna be five or six. It's time to get them.... I'm not trying to have no nanny do that or no uncle or no shit like that. No stepdad or no shit like that . I was raised like don't let no other man take care of yours. I admire Lil Wayne's focus on raising his children. I believe it's important for all children to bond with their father. The Casey Anthony Case

For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Matt 7:2

My disclaimer on this case: How long will we as people allow the MEDIA to dictate to us how we should think, live, eat dress, etc? Although this case is one that hits home in the hearts of many parents and Christians I would like to make a bold statement. There will come a time when those in high places whether it be government or media will say things that is not TRUE!! They have already done it. For those who have a RELATIONSHIP with YHWH I beg you to ask God for wisdom and discernment regarding issues such as this and learn to look at things of this nature thru the eyes of GOD and not the emotions of man.

We are flesh and we make mistakes. No One is perfect! New graces and mercies is gven to us all daily. Although this Mother took 31 days to report her child missing I do realize there are more underlying issues within her mind. (Sexual Abuse) Being one who was molested as a young girl from ages 5-12 I know what that is like. But no one knows but me and others who have experienced it what it is like to live with that travesty. It changes you! Sexually, mentally, emotionally, and especially toward children; For the better or worse. I am saying all this to say we were not there, and we were not given alll of the evidence the jury was given.

For whatever reason YHWH has allowed this woman to have a chance at life beyond this incident. Unfortunately a child has passed but God knew her fate before she entered into this world. I believe sometimes some only come to help those who are already here. I know many of you won’t understand my thoughts within this note and that is okay. Yet I will write cause GOD has placed it upon my heart. If no one else will pray for CASEY I will. Even the theif on the cross with Jesus was given a chance in the 9th hour… If this should become anotha unsung song within the justice system; I can rest well knowing YHWH has the last say so. Vengence is the Lord’s and who are we to judge? I know CASEY maybe guilty but who am I to convict her when GOD has granted her a pardon..We reap what we sow and do know if there is injustice within the system there will be none with GOD!

Even if my plea seems bias with my own history (pics=life experiences) I ask YHWH to remove my emotions and flesh and allow me to see things thru the eyes of the spirit. In this there is compassion, love, justice, and truth. I am thankful that my fate does not lye in the hands of man nor does Casey’s. Even if this verdict is deserving of her only GOD could allow it to come forth. MAN does not know our destiny but YHWH does and allows us to make choices along the way. This case was not just for CASEY but if your heart was touched it was for you too. Please ask God what you are to gain from this on a spiritual level and look beyond the media and your own opinion of this woman, but allow God to show you truly what you are to take from this and be open and prepared for what GOD will show you. Believe me you will be surprised what you will be shown..Fast and pray try GOD at his word in Jeremiah 33:3 he says; ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

As I close I just want to say please DON’T SLEEP! as my one of my favorite artise E.Badu sings “STAY WOKE” don’t allow the tricks & illusions of this world to allow you to condemn people. I am not saying CASEY is not GUILTY because I don’t know but what I do know is that my ABBA knows and the righteous is never forsaken.. So in the end that little baby girl that is no longer with us SHALL WIN! How? Cause she is with the greatest winner of all time YHWH. May the grace of God keep you and the Spirit of GOD be with you as you continue your journey in this earth called life.

What is this evil force men speak of?
One who deems to rule the world?
Where is his horns and jagged tail?

Is there really such a force that dwells within space
Or is it just within us? Do we embrace it
And then throw it away when we are done

Lurking for an opportunity to pounce on

An emotion or feeling only to increase

To Be A Tree

I often times wonder what it is like to be a tree
To sprout from a seed and bask within the sunlight
To suck in the nutrients of nearby lakes and streams

Spreading my roots to solid ground digging deep
Deep beyond where the eye can see
Hugging the rocks within my path

Stretching my branches so that every limb is free
So free that every leaf can blow in the wind
No matter what comes my way

I bend but don’t break because like
A tree planted by waters I shall not move
My leaves turn colors and shed with the season

I learn to bear much fruit
Yet the life of a tree is lonely
One in a million within a forest

To be sought after and taken for granted
The very oxygen that I generate has now been sifted
No longer am I sight for beauty

Just a stump to be had yet I reach deep within
And dig down, only to come up again
Sprouting more trunk, new branches and leaves

Why? Because I am a tree and no matter what

Me Defining a Bastard Child

Some say a Bastard child would be one
Who was conceived out of wedlock
Others say it is one who came thru a tragedy
I.E. a rape or incestuous act

Well I have pondered on this thang
And I think I have another theory
Although an orphan is defined as one who

Is not wanted by his mother or father
I deem this thought more defining for a bastard child
There are more theories that are suitable like the one who is

Raised by one parent only to have the other involved
Whenever the parent chooses, leaving the child to be
Raised inadequately and unbalanced

This is only my personal perspective and theory
Not to be tested or written in stone
Just a thought to ponder when one has reached

An area of confusion where bastard children are concerned
So are you a bastard child and have you made one?
I know it sounds harsh but don’t be dismayed

For there are many that come thru these avenues and
Yet they are successful beings, living life to fullest
Capacity, therefore being a bastard child is not all bad

When YOU have become the Prostitute!!! - No disrespect intended!

We never would typically think of ourselves as a Prostitiute now would we? Well in a previous note I depicted the Love of Most High for US. In that note it was stated that Jehovah sees us as the BRIDE and loves us endlessly! Well how are we perceived when we go astray in this world of SIN? Allow me to reveal what the bible says:

Ezekiel 16:8-15

8 “‘Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your naked body. I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Sovereign LORD, and you became mine. 9 “‘I bathed you with water and washed the blood from you and put ointments on you. 10 I clothed you with an embroidered dress and put sandals of fine leather on you. I dressed you in fine linen and covered you with costly garments. 11 I adorned you with jewelry: I put bracelets on your arms and a necklace around your neck, 12 and I put a ring on your nose, earrings on your ears and a beautiful crown on your head. 13 So you were adorned with gold and silver; your clothes were of fine linen and costly fabric and embroidered cloth. Your food was honey, olive oil and the finest flour. You became very beautiful and rose to be a queen. 14 And your fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, because the splendor I had given you made your beauty perfect, declares the Sovereign LORD. 15 “‘But you trusted in your beauty and used your fame to become a prostitute. You lavished your favors on anyone who passed by and your beauty became his.

This text describes the unfaithfulness of a nation, Jerusalem, but when we go astray we too are one in the same. We have all been unfaithful to God at some point in time and experienced alienation from our God. Even though we have experienced this we weren't left to endure a life of solitude. We were offered reconciliation. It is still offered to many today!! Another depiction of this love God has for us was demonstrated in laymens terms in the bible when God asked the prophet Hosea to marry Gomer the prostitute.

Hosea 1:2-3

2 When the LORD began to speak through Hosea, the LORD said to him, “Go, marry a promiscuous woman and have children with her, for like an adulterous wife this land is guilty of unfaithfulness to the LORD.” 3 So he married Gomer daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son.

There is much more to learn from this. even though our sins are forgiven and God's heart loves passionately, even when wounded deeply, there are consequences for sin, i.e. prostitution. When you have the time read Ezekiel 16 in its entirety as well as Hosea chapter 1 & 2. Just keep this in mind from the wedding day (your day of accepting CHRIST) forward we will never have to worry about being deserted and desolate for our God will never leave us nor forsake us.

Isaiah 62:4

No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate...for the LORD will take delight in you...

Are you Thirsty? Drink from the LIVING WATER!

Isaiah 44:3-5

4 For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring,

and my blessing on your descendants. 4 They will spring up like grass in a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams.

5 Some will say, ‘I belong to the LORD’; others will call themselves by the name of Jacob; still others will write on their hand, ‘The LORD’s, and will take the name Israel.

Just as the children of Israel and people of Judah we often look to the world to quench our thirst. We often times allow ourselves to be consumed with our culture, entertainment, trends, styles, transient relationships, and material prosperity! These things of idolaltary will continue to disappoint us. Our creator has given us word that JAH is the stream of Living Water and there is no need to look any place else. Are you God's chosen or are you still chasing after mirages? Streams that seem to quench your thirst but leave you parched and dry yearning for more.

Isaiah 44:6-8

6 “This is what the LORD says— Israel’s King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the first and I am the last;

apart from me there is no God. 7 Who then is like me? Let him proclaim it. Let him declare and lay out before me

what has happened since I established my ancient people, and what is yet to come yes, let them foretell what will come.

8 Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one.”

YHWH "I AM that I AM" is the living rock that gives this LIVING WATER and quenches the thirst of every human if you accept the creator into your life. There is no other like this GOD. Yes there are dieties and mini gods.. Are those the ones whom you serve? The Lord declares "JAH is ALMIGHTY apart from me there is no God"!! too many times we take our eyes off our true source of Life to focus on those things around us. Only to find we are still empty inside after filling ourselves with the nonsense of this world. So then how are we to QUENCH this thirst? This desire that yet still burns to be fulfilled?! Do you even know from where it comes? I believe our creators spirit reaches out to us and the magnetic force or pull if you will, reminds our flesh that we need something, but we being who we are look to fulfill this desire with earthly things.. Earthly happiness is only temporary. So what do you do? Where do you go? Who do you turn to? Well my brotha and sistahs today I tell you look no further. YHWH promises that those that live for JAH shall flourish. They will be poured into with the streams of LIVING WATER.

Don't be like those who have forsaken God and the living waters. Only to create your own way of being and soon find that it is no good to you. It is polluted, damaged, broken, and unfruitful!

Jeremiah 2:13

13 “My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.

I pray that you learn to live for JAH and form a relationship with Most High rather then only focus on religion or the lack thereof (for some). But truly allow JAH to be your ROCK and pour out the LIVING WATERS you need in life and become a TREE planted by these WATERS that won't be moved!!

Psalms 1:3

3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season

and whose leaf does not wither whatever they do prospers.

In our lives God has blessed us.. Like the children of Israel; African-Americans today have much to be thankful for! In America We weren't always FREE. Many fought for the abolishment of slavery in the USA. Once it was granted the FIGHT for CIVIL RIGHTS later began. As a PEOPLE we often times forget the STRUGGLE that our forefathers fought for our FREEDOM today!! You were the one's who witnessed it, not your children! Therefore we must do as the GOOD WORD (bible) tells us to and continue the story telling of our history so that our children and their children will KNOW all the GREAT and MIGHTY things that our GOD has delivered us from and through!!

Deuteronomy 11:1-7 (King James Version)

1Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway. 2And know ye this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm,

We MUST continue to tell the story!! For it will be through our telling that our children, grandchildren, and great grands shall be delievered. This is how they will know the POWER of the Most High God and reverence JEHOVAH for who he is to us in our lives.. It's up to us to keep the legacy of our God in circulation. If you don't who will?

It is time for the People of YHWH to RISE UP!! Let us not forsake the cause of why we are yet still here... My prayer is that we shall learn to tell others all what Jehovah has done for us.. That we be reminded in this day that his POWER remains the same and that we were called to a PROMISE and there is an end that we must keep!

Even with the SIGNS of the TIMES...

In this day and age YHWH is constantly sending us signs to show us the concern YHWH holds for us but often times we ignore these signs. These warnings have typically become natural disasters displaced on us by our failing environment we call Earth! But I ask you who holds this world in the palms of their hands figuratively speaking? Who controls the seas and the winds? Yes YHWH, therefore it is ordered and ordained that these catastrophes would fall upon us and why you ask?

Jeremiah 18:5-10

5 Then the word of the LORD came to me. 6 He said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares the LORD. “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel. 7 If at any time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, 8 and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned. 9 And if at another time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be built up and planted, 10 and if it does evil in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider the good I had intended to do for it.

YHWH has given us word to ensure us if we turn from our wicked ways the land would be spared, healed and replenished! What is our responsibility in all this? we must seek YHWH for guidance and knowledge. Allowing ourselves to gain wisdom on these matters and pursue them accordingly. We must spread the word of MOST HIGH.. speak the gospel unto those who are lost. No you don't have to beat them to death with the bible or with scriptures but simply do as JESUS did. Meet them where they are.

If they are out in the traps(selling drugs) and you have street knowledge befriend them. If they are in the strip clubs swinging from poles and you know what that kind of life was like, but thanks be unto YHWH you are now free, speak on that with them. Be transparent according to the will of Most High letting YHWH lead you in all that you do. You see you can not go forth in the trenches of darkeness professing the gospel if YHWH has not annointed you and appointed you. When YHWH has you shall be covered in the glory of Most High and no harm shall come unto you for YHWH has made the path for your journey...

Jonah 3:1-5

1 Then the word of the LORD came to Jonah a second time: 2 “Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you.” 3 Jonah obeyed the word of the LORD and went to Nineveh. Now Nineveh was a very large city; it took three days to go through it. 4 Jonah began by going a day’s journey into the city, proclaiming, “Forty more days and Nineveh will be overthrown.” 5 The Ninevites believed God. A fast was proclaimed, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth.

When we do what YHWH asks of us lives can be changed and blessings shall come forth....

Jonah 3:10

10 When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened.

So I ask you now with the floods in Austraila, the Ice Storms in USA, the past Earthquake in Haiti and Chile, etc what is YHWH trying to tell us? How will you know unless you ask? Seek his face and learn of his plans for the bible tell us in

Jeremiah 29:11

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future...

Now is the time for the Children of MOST HIGH to RISE UP and do those things which YHWH is asking of us! Let us not be stubborn like Jonah and end up in the belly of a whale. Speak life to this dying world while we still have time. And if you are not a child of Most High and perhaps you stumbled upon this note...Know that God loves you and wants you to be a part of the KINGDOM. Seek YHWH while you still can. Turn away from your wicked ways of life and run into the arms of our heavenly father. Abba is waiting for you, everything you shall ever need in right there in the bosom of Most High... God loves you and so do I!!

One day my spirit will be present before the ALMIGHTY

To be in the presence of Most High and sing praises unto YHWH
Is a lifelong quest of mine, but then I wonder what will it really
Be like? Time after time… Am I truly ready to meet that unknown destiny?
T he after life is everlasting… is it not?

Spirits of all mankind shall adjourn all in one place
First to be judged without haste and then for those who
Are chosen & who lived up to their calling
Our names shall be revealed in the Lambs book of life

When every knee has bowed and every tongue confessed
The everlasting after life shall begin
There will be praising forevermore; there I shall meet my Savior
T he Cherubim and my Guardian Angels

Rejoicing in praise unto Most High shall be our lives
For those who won’t make it to where we dwell

Are you Promotable?

Often times God will allow us to go through situations and circumstances just to see how we will respond? Will we whine, complain, or yet praise God in the midst of the trials and give thanks knowing that God will make a way somehow!! I must say I am guilty of whining and complaining sometimes..."Lord, why me? why now? Aren't I already going through enough?"

But yet daily my prayer is for God to make me more like YHWH's character, to align my steps with his will. And so as God begins to transform me and put me through the FIRE to PURIFY me I whine... lol I could hear God saying are you serious Kenya? You are equipped for this woman up and seek me I will help you only if you turn to me, use the strength that I have given you...

Hebrews 11:1-2 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for...

Philippians 4:4-7 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I have learned that even in those trying and uncomfortable times GOD is permitting these tests and trials so that my character might be built and so I may learn to persevere and have endurance. For it matters not how quickly you win the race but how you endure throughout. Let us take time today to look within ourselves and look at the situations around us. What is God teaching us today? How are you responding to your issues? Are you trusting and believing in God no matter what is right before you...The world may say one thing about your economic status, your marriage, your children, family, you health, etc.. But God has the last say so!

Romans 5:3-4 Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.

For those who say..Well Lord I am doing all that you asked of me! I'm tithing, feeding and clothing the homeless..etc Why is this happening to me? Well the bible says:

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Romans 2:7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.

Hebrews 10:36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

So remember the next time you are going through what seems to be the most horrible situation at the most inopportune time, that perhaps God just wants to see if you are ready for the next level!! The next blessing that he has prepared for you and your response to the situation will decide how soon you receive what your heart desires..

My prayer for you this day is that you become PROMOTABLE according to the will of God and by the strength and word that is embedded in you from on high. Believe me I am yet walking in this now you are not alone but together we can make it!!! How? We are more than conquerors in CHRIST JESUS!!

It's amazing how I thought I knew all there was to know

Yet my creator keeps revealing more to me...

I never knew that knowledge and wisdom encompassed so much

Yet today I am thankful for all that I am learning

For I am being taught by the best teacher

Ruach HaKodesh(Holy Spirit) yes I am the pupil

When I was a child I aspired to be an Acheiver

But now that means so much more in the sense

That I do it for YHWH, my Abba, My King

It's amazing no longer do I crave the attention of man

Yet this desire is being fulfilled daily by my creator..

I have come to appreciate every breath I take

Every step I make is now ordered

It's amazing cause back in the day I could care less

I was doing me and as long as I seemed happy it was cool

It's amazing how YHWH can transform you into someone

You never thought you would be..Yet I am wiser, stronger, and studious

I am learning what LIFE is truly about..learning to cherish every moment

It's amazing how much YHWH can reveal to you if only you seek...

Yes it can be a bit overwhelming at times but don't worry you won't

Get more then you can handle YHWH knows just what you need

Its amazing that after years of sinning I am still here to share the TRUTH with you

Ain't none of us perfect but in YHWH and thru Yeshua we are made whole

A new creature in Christ when we die to flesh and live unto the Spirit of Most High

Its AMAZING!!!! GOD is AMAZING!!

Through the Trenches of LIfe

There are times in life when we are broken
We feel in despair, no one can fathom this feeling
In this time I reach out now even more to my Creator

For this is when YHWH's love embraces me
The pain is nothing compared to his love
The bills and debt will pass away, the trials of today will fade

YHWH's Love is the same today yesterday and forevermore
So I strive to go to another place in YHWH
Holiness is what I long for..It seems so far away

But I'm so close that's why it hurts sooo bad, yeah I know
Not my will but Thy will for me...I need the GLORY of Most High
To live in my worship, in my praise, saturate my thoughts

Manifest your will in my life ABBA I need thee
When life throws its best punches We must not back down
Then we must seek the face of Most High even more

We need the GLORY to capture us
Purify us, Purge us, Deliver us...
This life is not a game and there are no do overs

When the curtain closes the show is over
Only to open again at judgement
Eternal life of paradise is offered unto those
Who have lived a faithful life unto YHWH in relationship

Accepting the LOVE and the SUN

As I look at my life now I realize how much Time has gone by
In an instant, a twinkle of an eye, it seems Time has slipped away
My journey is nowhere near complete yet I enter into
A TIME warp it seems

Nature is doing its own thing
Storms passing, tsunami's rising, earthquakes shaking
I wonder even now what truly lies in this moment of time
Have I stumbled across something miraculous?

Understanding that time stops for no one
It embraces the shadows of our past
Giving life to the future

If only I could hold it in my hands
Along with my dreams and destiny
If I could monitor every thought and vision

Time would be my friend allowing me to exist
Existing eternally yes that would be a treat
Time is the ultimate gift for it can be given

Yet also taken away... If you cherish it
Blessings shall follow, invest in it and use it wisely
Time waits for no man...

Time it's not on your side so it seems but in
A twinkle of an eye you could have it without
Question dwelling in a moment of bliss

TIME.... TIME..... TIME... Live in it!!!

The POWER in PRAYER

So often we think of prayer as a means of blessinig our food or wishing someone else well being, health, and prosperity. Well I have found that prayer is so much more!!! Even when I don't feel like praying I must urge myself to do so!! For this is my way of communication with my Creator, YHWH the one who sustains me. Throughout the Bible many men and women prayed hoping that the Lord would hear their cries, requests, and praise!

How often do you talk to God? It should not just be when you are going through but also when things are well. Lately it seems all hell has been breaking loose all around me. Yet I pray... I have always prayed and often times I feel God does not hear me..Do I stop Praying? NO!!!! I pray more!! For I know the word of YHWH tells me he hears me.. Sometimes there is silence and an answer may not come right away. YHWH just wants me to wait and be STILL. Being still does not mean I do nothing... I must still actively seek the face of my Father and call on my Savior Jesus Christ for he is my Advocate. He shall stand in the gap for me..Praying unceasingly because the Holy Spirit will translate my moans and groans unto the Father..

The bible gives us many examples of those who prayed for the upliftment of others even during the midst of their own struggles. As well, through their prayer they exemplified the love of Christ and Power of Prayer. Even requests of Prayer in the bible showed the expectant Power of Prayer.

Ephesians 6:19-20
Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should....Request by Paul

Acts 4:31
After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.... The spirit of YHWH honors prayer

Colossians 1:9-14
9For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. 13For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins

I guess what I am trying to say is NEVER STOP PRAYING!! It doesn't have to be this long drawn out prayer. LORD HELP!! two words thats a prayer! Of course we want to give honor and Praise unto God when we pray. Thanking Jesus for being our advocate for it is in his name that we pray and it is only by him that we reach the father..Allow the Holy Spirit to overtake you and dwell within, for then you open the spiritual door for so many blessings. Confess your burdens, repent of your sin knowing and unknowingly but most of all take the time to talk to your Creator and allow YHWH to speak to you.. Which means at some point you must be quiet and listen. And Of course last but not least when you mostly feel like giving up and you feel praying aint worth nothing, cause it won't change anything...CONTINUE to pray until SOMETHING happens. My dear brothers and sistahs PUSH your way through and PRESS your way into the prescence of God!

Easier said then done I know but remember Joy shall come soon Trouble don't last always.. As I give you this word I minister to myself as well.. Please Pray for me and I will pray for you. Peace and Blessings FB Fam!

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

The gift of YHWH is Revelation of Himself

Today I find strength in knowing that YHWH loves me so much to empower me through his word and the lives of others whom YHWH has annointed. The word of Most High is forever revealing within the very mysteries of the bible. It will only be revealed when one seeks YHWH. YHWH will reveal these things unto you because you thirst after it!!

As the words says in 1Corinthians 2:9 However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him."

Unless God reveals himself to us we will not know. We cannot read enough...YHWH must reveal it to us!Know that today your very existence is a mystery within the mind of God. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. If you cannot see God you are not yet pure... We have to take time to have relationship with God. More than you ever have before. It's time out for playing church! You don't have time for that no more!! We are at WAR! You cannot fight if you are unprepared!!

We must be strong in YHWH for he is greater in us than he that is in the world. Stop wallowing in your mess. Depression, infections, afflictions...STOP!! You must make the difference you have the POWER!
As stated in Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

We must be ever present about our will. When YHWH says pray, PRAY!! When YHWH says fast, FAST!! We must denounce the spirits that say no to YHWH!! We were created to worship YHWH! We have authority over the advesary because YHWH created us to do what the adversary chose not to do!! Therefore causing the enemy to rise up against us because of the POWER YHWH has given us.

Ephesians 6:11
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Only when we allow YHWH to reveal his mysteries unto us, only then can we operate in the position we were created to for!! Be ye not afraid... We have the POWER to turn things around in our lives. To speak LIFE and make it happen... Today make the choice if you will let YHWH reveal his mysteries unto you. As said in Jeremiah 29:13, And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

You have authority walk in it!! I don't know if this will touch the heart of anyone today but after watching 5 Juanita Bynum youtube video series I felt compelled to share the word YHWH had given her in my own way...Reaching out to those who are close to me. I pray that it will add unto you Great POWER and Revelation within your day today!! Be blessed and know that YHWH is YHWH!!

Yes there are times when I have looked the other way
Expecting someone else to take your place
Little did I know, no one could fill your shoes
Your imprint in my life has changed me so

There will never be another to touch me the way you do

You allow me to enter in with open arms

You never question me or constantly remind me of my wrong doings

And yet daily I am constantly trying to reach
The next level in you...Well Father I have now
Come to the conclusion that first you must ENDOW
Me with the power of the Holy Ghost, The Ruach Elohim, Shekinah

Fill me with your spirit YHWH this shall be the only way
I can even stand in this life of mine... Endow me
Annoint me from the top of my head to my toes
Allow me to tap into the power and authority you created me with

So many of us are lost and don't know that You are THE WAY
Not religion, going to church, or even doing the work of the church
It is having a relationship with you that is the laying foundation
Abba if you ENDOW me then the people will see....

Fill me Lord let your light REFLECT in me
You are Strong and Mighty and yet when I am weak
You are my strength...We are your creation, we need you
So fill us with your spirit, Fill me with your spirit

There is none like you, there will never be another

But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, "In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires." These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.
But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

Be merciful to those who doubt; snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.

My Spirit Soars

My spirit soars seeking the presence of Most High
Finding beautiful creations and majestic places
My spirit longs to delight in my Heavenly Father
Yah teach me your ways and decrees

Allow them to become alive in me with every breath I breathe
May my thoughts become pure in words and dreams
My spirit soars to find the secret dwelling place of Most High
In and out of mystic realities my spirit yearns to dream

Dream a conscious state of being that declares my freedom in thee
Yah has given me the ability to be free but first I must release
All my inhibitions, frustrations, and unhealthy desires
I give them all to Yah so that I may soar freely

As I continue my journey I realize I am still heavy laden
Once again I return to my father all to learn that I haven’t
Emptied of my self completely a lot of me still yet remains
I must let go of me so that Yah may increase….

Denying myself and taking on my cross
Yes trials and sufferings have come but these are simply tests
Enhancers to make me stronger, wiser, brighter
Allowing the light of Most High to shine through

Yet my spirit soars increasingly as I fast, pray, and meditate
I find my love, my strength, my hope and my fountain
A fountain of blessings overflowing with mercy and grace
Soaring, soaring, soaring throughout all eternity

There are now no limits on me because of who
I have become Who I will forever be…
A spirit divine and forever intertwined with
Yah In mind, body and soul…so daily I will
Continue to soar for my spirit shall
One day find my resting place in thee….
My spirit Soars throughout all eternity

Time has no boundary for in paradise is where
You shall find me...........
Yahweh, me and my brethren all who have soared before me
In a wonder of ecstasy that is only comprehensive

The Visible Ones

1 Peter 2:12 Live such good lives among the pagans, that though they
accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify
God on the day he visits us.

As we are called to live supernatural lives we realize it is
daunting!! We know we can't truly live up to it. We are commanded
to have a kind of righteousness that exceeds human expectations.
We are to be clearly distinguishable from the world we live in,
yet we are not taken out of it!!! We have no choice but to live
in it. In this time culture and customs pressure us and temptations
wage war against us. The identity of the Holy Ones of God seems
awfully farfetched sometimes...As it is assuaulted daily.

None the less God expects us to do as we were commissioned. Jesus
emphasized to his disciples that they were salt and light in this
world, letting thier good deeds be seen. In this scripture notated
above Peter reiterates the importance of living the kind of life that
will prompt unbelievers to glorify God when they see him.

For us there is only one way to do that and we must be adamant in
our resistance to the currents of this world. If we isolate ourselves
from sinful neighborhoods and difficult situations, we have failed this
command!!If we live in the midst of corrupt cultures and let them rub
off on us, we have also failed this command. There is only one option
for us: We have to live in hostile territory; and we have to live
contrary to it!!

** The question is how are you doing that? Do you tend to isolate
yourself from secular influences or ungodly people? If so, you can't
be the witness God wants you to be. On the other hand do you let the
world influence you to the point that there is no distinction between
you and your surroundings? Then you aren't the witness God wants
you to be. Seek a balance. Don't avoid your world, and don't
succumb to it. LIVE for HIS glory where you are!!!***

Where Are My People???

My people I am calling on you the ones who I created to worship
You are my people my chosen ones’
Where are you now in this time of need?
So many lost souls, so many hurting and dying souls
They need to be encouraged and acknowledged but yet they’re not

Where are my People, the chosen?
Those who I have ordained and given grace and mercy too?
You are my treasures and in you I believe
Lately you have shown me a lack of obedience
But that’s ok!! I have already girded you with all you need

It is time and the choice is yours
The season has come and a nation of healers must rise up
Healers to the people who are lost and don’t know me in the
Pardon of their sins…Yes you must choose to fight in this army
I don’t take prisoners, my job is freeing them
From inner most spiritual wars and conflicts

Where are my people? Will you rise up and be heard?
Will you rise up and make a difference
Will you rise up and stand for me?
Standing for the Christ, The Holy Spirit, and Yahweh
Or will you just succumb to the plans of the adversary?

I know the battle is hard and people are watching
But I tell you the truth when you ride with me
None of that even matters …just trust in Yah
And know everything will be alright
So are you ready for this eternal journey that begins now?

If you are let me hear you shout with my official
War cry of praise Hallelujah!! Hallelujah!! Hallelujah!!
Praise Most High the nation of the Healers is on the rise!!

When you have gone through the war

Stand strong and don't back down

Retreat to rest and allow Yah to restore you

Remember there is no failing these tests

The battle has already been won

Don't loose focus, this is only a time of retreat

Because the war again you will soon meet

Yet on another level with new devils

but do not fret...Why??

Cause Most High, Yaweh got cha back

Rest assured nothing and no one can escape Yah's attack

I declare Peace, Joy, and Love for you to go forth

Yes you need these three but most of all Yah's love

There is none greater

Yes, know that once you have gone through the war

Your name is scribbled on the advesary's pad

They got your number and yo next assignment is their mission

To stop before you even can dish it...but don't worry

The Holy Spirit has got cha back

Stand in the authority Christ has given you

You are more than conquerors through Him

Yet when you are weak He is strong

So run on my sistah

Run on my brotha

Lay your burdens upon the Lord

Take up your cross daily

Deny self and allow Yah to pour into you

Truly then you shal see another VICTORY
When you've Gone through the War!!!

Blessings Began to Overflow

It is amazing that in those moments when we most need a blessing
It often takes its time getting to us but when the overflow begins
It’s always on time, You see I have learned the meaning of patience

Yet learning to wait on the Lord for Yah shall supply every need
While waiting I pray and praise never giving up HOPE
For it is the very substance of my blessings coming forth

I speak life to my situation reminding it of my God and his might
For Yah is strong and mighty and anything is possible
As long as I abide in Yah and the word of Most High in me

Blessings will soon come granted they may not come
When I want them to but they are ALWAYS, always on time
I have found when the blessings began to flow they do so in abundance

One after the other until it seems no more….
Not only are you blessed but those around you are blessed
Yah opens doors only Yah can open
And closes doors no man can close

Once the windows of heaven are commanded to open
They began to pour out blessings; untold blessings only Yah
Could provide, therefore all glory and honor goes unto God

The Blessings began to overflow when we align ourselves
With the word of God and stay in Yah’s presence often
For it is the bread of life that sets us free in thee

When we feast upon the living bread and drink of that
Everlasting water all things come into being
Being in the sense of obtaining spiritual completeness

Opening up our minds to the possibilities and wonders
Of our Magnificent and on time God when we pay attention
To all that Yah has already done and began to give thanks

Praise starts and then the blessings proceed when we are in constant
Prayer with determination and declaring our authority in our lives
We find the blessings will increase less we began to bless others with our speech

The overflow in abundance is in our reach and when it starts
Oh how sweet!! All praises unto Yah for God has made this possible

PRAISE YAH, I'M STILL STANDING!!

Trials have come to make me strong
Though in the midst of these trials I have felt weak
Yet I held on with everything I hold to Yah's unchanging hand
I realize that I walk and not faint because of my faith

I have lifted my eyes unto the Lord
I have Prayed and by and by Yah has answered
Not always have things worked out when I wanted them to
But Yah is always on time....

Mind you, I have learned PATIENCE and what it truly means
To WALK by FAITH and not by sight...
I am stronger than ever before now, because Yah has kept me
I feel invigorating love in abundance oh how I praise thee

For all that has and is to come there is only one
To be thankful to and only one whom I will Praise ---YAH
Through the valley's of death still I rise with an awesome spirit of God inside
Still I rise... No weapon formed against me shall prosper

I am a warrior and Yah is my strength
My Rock and salvation, my breastplate and helmet
Jesus is my savior and no other name is higher
I declare Peace in my life and on this journey

Yet still I stand cause Yah has Blessed... Oh how I sing praises
I give honor and worship the Most High
I am thankful to have this opportunity to praise
This storm is near over I can feel it just a little more to go

Thank God the Battle is already won and I am a VICTOR!!
PRAISE YAH I AM STILL STANDING...FOREVERMORE!!!!

The Transfiguration

Matthew 17
The Transfiguration
1After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.
4Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah."

5While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!"

6When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. 7But Jesus came and touched them. "Get up," he said. "Don't be afraid." 8When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.

9As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, "Don't tell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead."

10The disciples asked him, "Why then do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?"

11Jesus replied, "To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things. 12But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands." 13Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist.

So many times we read the word of God not realizing the message is right before our eyes. In this passage Jesus goes up on a mount with James, Peter, John and his brother. And before their eyes Jesus is transfgured with a light shone upon him. The disciples see Elijah and Moses standing with Christ. Not realizing the symbolization of this meeting they attempt to make tabernacles for the three. Yahweh then speaks and says the Jesus is his son and he is well pleased with him.

How many times have you asked God to show himself in your life...allow his prescence to be made in a super natural way and then when Yah does, you disregard the moment given? I believe that is what happens in this moment for those who are chosen to partake. Then Jesus simply tells them that Elijah has already come when they question this meeting...They do not realize that the spirit of Elijah has come through John the Baptist who has made the way for Jesus. Once again Jesus is showing those who are yet walking with him that he is who he says he is.

You see our blessings don't always come in the packages we expect them to nor in the persons we think they should come through...But God knows what is best and by and by if we are faithful Yah will reveal his plans unto us.

You see the hebrew meaning of ELIJAH is The Lord is my God!! El I Jah and even though the brothers thought that the one who was for Elijah had not not come....Now it is revealed to them that the one had come. Yet will they believe. how many times does God allow transfigurating moments in your life and you simply turn the other way?

Stop! Don't do that anymore, allow Yah to use you in your tranfigurating moment and allow it to be a testimony for someone else. Although it seemed as though the brothers were completely lost insome instances these are the same ones who helped build up the CHURCH. Peter was the ROCK on which Christ built the church.

Matthew 16:18

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

Because of the brothers constant will to seek the master's will and follow in the way of Christ they were used to serve in the high calling of their time. Yes you too were created to walk in the divine light of Yah and walk in your calling. Don't let your tranfiguring moment pass you by with out noticing the purpose of it. Seek and ye shall find, ask and it will be given unto you. And as Jeremiah 33:3 says:

'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.'

When Yah reveals prepare your heart to recieve and you shall live abundantly. Peace and blessings Fam. I pray I have shared something you may gain insight from. May the Lord add a blessing to the reading of his word! Shalom

Stand Strong in the Face of the Adversary!!

Philippians 1:27-28

27Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel 28without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved—and that by God.

Often times we may find ourselves facing obstacles, people, spirits that in no way form or fashion are supportive for us or to us. Yahweh has sent us an encouraging word through the life of our fellow brethren. We are to STAND STRONG in Yah and move accordingly. We must not allow ourselves to be afraid.... No matter the situation. It was hard for me to swallow this pill but yet the words are true and effective. We must remember:

Psalm 27:1

The LORD is my light and my salvation
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life

of whom shall I be afraid?

When everyone from immediate family and friends are against you and the path you have taken for Yah, Holdfast. You know in your heart and soul that Yah has directed your path let no one deter you. Yes the attcks of the enemy will come full force and the trials will be allowed to make you stronger. Yet even in these times you will feel at your weakest. It is then that you must allow the POWER of Most High- Yahweh to keep you and sustain you during the storm. The rains will come and the thunder will roll, lighting will flash, and the oceans will roar but know that you are not alone.

John 14:16

16And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

The Holy Spirit is with us...Jesus is with us...Yah is with us!! (the Trinity)

As I write this I encourage myself for I am going through this place of what I speak on. I have learned it is better to Trust in God than to depend on myself or man. I have faith and believe, I know Yah will work things together for my good. In the meantime I must GO THROUGH. Knowing that Yah is with me and that the SUN shall rise again. The wings of righteousness shall be revealed and all will see the Glory of my God through me and the trials that Yah will bring me through.

Remember Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Be bold and brave! Stand in the Authority that Yah has given unto you. Bind demonic forces and wicked prinicipalities on earth as it is in heaven. And Loose Divinity, strength, confidence, wisdom etc. on earth as it is in heaven in Jesus name!! Cast down imagination and strongholds, you have the power...Yah has given it to you. You are heir to the throne. Be not decieved Our Lord is Alpha and Omega and no one is anything with out Yah. Be strong and stand firm in the promise of Most High.

I will pray that whoever comes upon this piece will gain and be able to share with others the insight that lies within. Peace and Blessings my brothas and sistahs. STAND STRONG in the FACE of the Adversary!!

"Yah Restores and Replaces."

In Job 2 the sons of Yah came to present themselves
before Him and satan was there among them too.
Yah asked if he considered His servant Job there's none
like him, question is, is Yah asking satan to consider you.

The adversary told Yah that he would make Job curse Him to His
face by what He would take Job emotionally and physically through.
Where Job had everything a man can receive at the hands of
Yah satan had taken it all except the wife who treated him like poo.
She said in the 9th verse, Do you still hold fast to your
integrity curse Yah and die.

You see she lost everything including her family and in her
heart she was bitter and knew that Job was the reason why.
In chapter 3 Job wished he wasn't born the emotional
pressure of the testing had taken its toll on him.
There are a lot of people who would break under what Job
went through and I mean plenty of them.

We can't compare the trials we're going and growing
through it may seem like the end but we're not there yet.
You may be hurting now and knowing what you know
the testings may make you want to regret.

Has Yah asked satan to consider His servant you because
if you're not being tested, or attacked something is wrong.
The trials and tribulations come into your life to prove
you fit and worthy they're there to make you strong.

Job had friends or so-called friends to visit him in his
misery remember misery Loves company also.
They tried to blame Job and he even for a moment got
self righteous and his side of the circumstance he tried to show.

Only the youngest of the crowd showed Job the error of his
ways when out of emotion he spoke out.
I find myself doing the same when I'm tested, all in
the Kool- Aid and don't know what the flavor is all about.
After Yah responded to Job and put him in his place
in 42:10 Yah released Job from his captivity.

After Job prayed for his friends he restored him and
replaced twice of what was his property.
Yah replaced the children that was taken and
He restored the Love of his wife.

Yah replaced and restored His servant Job and surely
as a servant you're no different He'll do the same in your life.
What satan uses to test you Yah means it for good.
Read Romans 8:28

Love the LORD Your God
1 These are the commands, decrees and laws the LORD your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, 2 so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the LORD your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life. 3 Hear, O Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, promised you.

4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. 5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.

10 When the LORD your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you—a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, 11 houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant—then when you eat and are satisfied, 12 be careful that you do not forget the LORD, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

13 Fear the LORD your God, serve him only and take your oaths in his name. 14 Do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you; 15 for the LORD your God, who is among you, is a jealous God and his anger will burn against you, and he will destroy you from the face of the land. 16 Do not test the LORD your God as you did at Massah. 17 Be sure to keep the commands of the LORD your God and the stipulations and decrees he has given you. 18 Do what is right and good in the LORD's sight, so that it may go well with you and you may go in and take over the good land that the LORD promised on oath to your forefathers, 19 thrusting out all your enemies before you, as the LORD said.

20 In the future, when your son asks you, "What is the meaning of the stipulations, decrees and laws the LORD our God has commanded you?" 21 tell him: "We were slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, but the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand. 22 Before our eyes the LORD sent miraculous signs and wonders—great and terrible—upon Egypt and Pharaoh and his whole household. 23 But he brought us out from there to bring us in and give us the land that he promised on oath to our forefathers. 24 The LORD commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the LORD our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today. 25 And if we are careful to obey all this law before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness."

As a people God had given us a word to remind us of how to follow in his way!! Have we forgotten and fallen astray? Take an evaluation of your life today. We are like the children of Israel, are we not? Yet we do not adhere to the word of Most High...what then shall happen to us on that day of judgment when Yah calls you accountable for what you should have known and done?

African Americans were Once enslaved people in the United states and many other places. Yet we were set free but in some instances with stipulations...Then many men and women fought for our civil rights such as Dr. Martin Luther King. Yet we have forgotten the struggle and sacrifices of our ancestors as well as their God. We now idolize money, lifetsyles, and people as if it is to be worshipped. God has charged us not to forget our past but yet our children today can barely see a brighter future. We must DO SOMETHING! Before it is too late.

Just a thought of today that I am pondering.... I must remember God's word and reflect on what it means for me in this day and time. I believe you should too!!

The Devil is DEFEATED!

Even though the adversary desires to sift me like wheat I can stand on the word of the Most High God and know that Hasatan (the devil) is already defeated!! Recently I have endured trials of anguish, tormenting spirits from hell tying to devour my Joy. They come with lies and distorted visions of my right now life, professing that I need to turn back the hands of time and focus on what once was... Well I stand today as a living testimony that they are liars and I am a VICTOR my battle is already WON.God has brought me too far for me to turn back now! I have taken comfort in the words of James given unto the twelve tribes of the nation:

Trials and Temptations- James 1:1-14

2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

9The brother in humble circumstances ought to take pride in his high position. 10But the one who is rich should take pride in his low position, because he will pass away like a wild flower. 11For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich man will fade away even while he goes about his business.

12Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

13When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. 15Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

16Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers. 17Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. 18He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

I am thankful unto Yahweh for revealing this word to me in spirit..Now I can stand strong and profess the word of the Most High God....

10Though my father and mother forsake me,the Lord will receive me. 11Teach me your way, O Lord; lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors. 12Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes,for false witnesses rise up against me,breathing out violence. 13I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord

Isaiah 54

No weapon forged against you will prevail,

and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.

This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,

and this is their vindication from me,”

declares the Lord.

I delare this word for myself and family..I plead the blood of Jesus over my household!! I declare I am an heiress to the throne of the Most High God and no devil, demon, etc. in hell can take me down for HE that is in me is greater than he that is in the world!! I pray that my stance and declaration has given you hope and insight today. May the peace of Most High be with you always.......

With All My Strength Even, In My Weakness, I Yet Worship Yahweh!

During this time of year I often reflect of my past. Why? I don't know but I seem to reflect more during this time... Allow me if you will to vent!! I have realized that even through my mental and emotional transitioning times I am weak. Yes although I am told I am STRONG over and over again by family and friends, right now and at times I feel completely weak and yet I press on....

The strength that I have is none other than what is provided unto me by my Creator. Lord knows the trouble I bear during these times and even though things may seem JUST FINE I'm at in war inside; Inside my mind and spirit. I have learned though, time and time again that this is the time to GO HARD!! To worship with wisdom and all I have within me. I have to tap into my inner self and allow the spirit of Most High to guide me as only Yah can.

I know you might say, what is she talking about? It seems as though she is speaking in riddles. Well when you have gone through all what I have and then some, then you too may comprehend. Ya see this life is a journey that I did not plan, yet I must walk in the shoes that fit me. The bible tells me in............

Romans 8:6
The mind of a sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is Life and Peace.

This is the reason I remind myself to refocus when this time of year comes around. I must stay focused with my mind stayed on Most High. Because the mind is so miraculous and yet corrupt in the same it must be told what to do. That can only happen when your spirit leads your mind in the direction your heart desires. I have decided that even through these times I will open my mind, soul, and heart unto my Creator, that I may live with life and peace.

Yes it gets hard sometimes, Really HARD! But I stay holding onto my Faith what I believe while remembering what God has already done for me. When I need to feel the touch of my Creator I go out and let the wind caress my face. I inhale the air that was put here just for me..(and you too). I look into the skies and admire the clouds that grace the atmospere. I listen to nature calling out to it's own.... Then I realize I was created by The Almighty and whatever this transition phase is ...it too will pass.

So I PRAISE, PRAY, WORSHIP, MOAN, CRY, and MEDITATE on the Spirit. I open myself up to all that shall and will come...VICTORY, JOY, PEACE, LOVE, and COMFORT.

I am truly thankful now for through this piece God has ministered to my soul through The Holy Spirit. For this I am truly thankful. Thank you El Elyon, Elohim, Adonai....No Words can express how I truly feel thank you for Loving me. And thank you Blog fam for letting me vent....

If you wish to allow your mind to be guided by the spirit of Most High pray this prayer:

Lord fill my mind with your thoughts, give me insight to your ways, help me to appreciate your wisdom. Let my mind behold your glory. Grant me life and peace through your spirit. Amen

Ask For Wisdom, While You Are a Fool!!

I have often kept my mouth closed and not asked for wisdom from God because I have not felt worthy of asking Him, or because I have been in condemnation and guilt over my recent foolishness.Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate. - Proverbs 24:7

This verse says that the very act shows that my heart is foolish. Matthew Henry concise commentary on the Bible says of this verse: “A weak man thinks wisdom is too high for him, therefore he will take no pains for it.”

GOD WANTS YOU TO ASK
Sometimes we don’t know God’s word and promises and that is why we know not what to ask for. In one of my favorite scriptures in the bible, Jesus tells us that we can seek and we shall find and that our Father wants to bless us."Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!" - Luke 11:11-13

IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU OR YOUR FOOLISHNESS
Sometimes I forget and I still think that this thing is about me, and not about God and His character, and so in my foolish state I don’t ask for wisdom, thinking it is unattainable to me. I think 'I am not worthy and have made too many mistakes to ask for wisdom at this point." or "I know better than this, God is going to be mad with me and is tired of me asking for wisdom." But what does the scripture say?If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. – James 1:5

This makes me excited! This scripture annuls the lies of the enemy who says I cannot have wisdom or you cannot have wisdom. God will not only give you wisdom, but will give generously without finding fault in you for your foolishness so far!FAITH AND EXPECTANCYKeep reading because there are conditions! Listen carefully to the next verse in James:But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. – James 1:6

DOUBT.... If you don’t believe, then not only will you become unstable like the wind tossing the sea, your doubt will come to life. If you doubt, then you are right to doubt because you won’t get anything from the Lord. Read it in James 1:7. That man [who doubts when asking for wisdom] should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; - James 1:7

Henry Ford’s famous quote comes to mind “whether you think you can or you think you can’t you are right." As does another proverb: As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.
– Proverbs 23:7

GOD REWARDS YOU FOR SEEKING HIM... Are you thinking of seeking God for wisdom? Then you are already on the path of seeking Him. The very suggestion to your mind to seek wisdom is from the Holy Spirit. And as you seek Him, He is pleased with you!And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. - Hebrews 6:11

DON'T HAVE ENOUGH FAITH?

GOD HAS THAT COVERED TOO. His word is a lamp to our paths and a light to our footsteps. Know what’s in it so you can draw wisdom from inside as the Holy Spirit quickens you and reminds you all of the Word you have read. Reading the Word will increase your faith too:So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. - Romans 10:17

If you don’t feel you have faith, take a faith the size of a mustard seed and believe on it. To increase faith, pray and fast for a while. Sow into the spirit and you’ll gain harvest from it. Jesus said this [faith] comes only from fasting and prayer." 'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes."Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!" Mark 9:23-24

After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, "Why couldn't we drive it out?"He replied, "This kind can come out only by fasting and prayer. Mark 9:28-29 Take a mustard seed size of faith and believe God for wisdom. He will lead you on your path.
DON’T THINK YOU HAVE STRENGTH?

- ANOTHER THING WISDOM IS GOOD FOR

Many times I thought "I'm a strong person" but if you really saw me in the midst of some adversities and heard me complain and go back to my default thinking, you'd see I was deceived and was not strong after all. Times are hard when the devil is coming after us, our flesh is ruling us and circumstances get in the way of taking on the thoughts of God as our own! Hear what God says through His wise man, King Solomon about wisdom providing strength:If you faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. – Proverbs 24:10

I am still learning to walk and live stronger and God has delivered me from so much weakness in my life by giving me wisdom. When adversity comes, give it to God. Seek wisdom and it will strengthen you –A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength. It is yours for the taking. – Proverbs 24: 5

GET THIS! When you go to the gate of wisdom, open your mouth and ask for it. God will help you and won’t find fault with you for asking. Even when circumstances look like they are not changing, go ahead and believe that He is giving you wisdom. God will give wisdom and in wisdom there is strength. So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou has found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off. - Proverbs 24:14

PRAYER:

Our Father who art in heaven, Holy is your name, we ask for Your wisdom, strength, faith in Jesus name and believe that You will give it to us. Help us in our time of tribulation to cheer up and put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Help us to ask You for the good gifts You want to give us. Bring us revelation in Your love letter to us, Your Bible and give us the discipline and thirst for righteousness to read it and spend time with You through prayer and fasting.

AMEN

Openness to TRUE Worship-Are you OPEN?

Often times you may find yourself wondering if your way of worship is the only TRUE and living way to worship the Most High God. I have found for myself by seeking the face of my creator that there are yet many different ways of TRUE worship. It is yet determined by our culture, history, and mindset of openness to the one whom has created us. For the longest I thought that anything other than Christianity was blasphemy unto GOD for that was what I was taught as an American child growing up in the 1980's. Of course I have learned differently now only because I allowed Most High to show me TRUTH! I had an epiphany about my ancestors-the slaves. When they were brought to this land they knew nothing about Christianity but they had a very intimate and strong relationship with the Creator-GOD! So how then, can I only profess the ways of worship of Christianity to be the only TRUE way? I can't!!

Recently I came upon a parable in the bible about Peter in "Peter explains his actions" it reads as such: Acts 11:1-18

1The apostles and the brothers throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God. 2So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers criticized him 3and said, "You went into the house of uncircumcised men and ate with them."
4Peter began and explained everything to them precisely as it had happened: 5"I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision. I saw something like a large sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came down to where I was. 6I looked into it and saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, reptiles, and birds of the air. 7Then I heard a voice telling me, 'Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.'

8"I replied, 'Surely not, Lord! Nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.'
9"The voice spoke from heaven a second time, 'Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.' 10This happened three times, and then it was all pulled up to heaven again.
11"Right then three men who had been sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying. 12The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man's house. 13He told us how he had seen an angel appear in his house and say, 'Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. 14He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.'

15"As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning. 16Then I remembered what the Lord had said: 'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.' 17So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?"
18When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, "So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life."

I learned from this passage that even Peter, a follower of Christ looked upon others as unclean and had a closed mind to the worship of others according to their culture. For a Jew to go to the home of a Gentile was considered to be taboo during this time but Peter did so in Acts 10:28 because the Lord told him to do so.

Acts 10:28
28He said to them: "You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with a Gentile or visit him. But God has shown me that I should not call any man impure or unclean.

In God revealing this important word unto Peter he realizes that he had false apprehensions about the Gentiles and he had to repent. Often times I have found myself making accusations about a nation of people according to their way of worship. For example The nation of Islam- Muslims, Hebrew Israelites, Persons who practice Hinduism, and Scientology. I know now that I am no one to judge them in their worship nor denounce them from their right relationship with the Most High GOD. Just like Peter I now repent...Father for give me. For in due time someone will look at my God given insight as some sort of empathetic excuse to ordain a ONESS in God amongst all Nations. Be knowingest to them this would be inaccurate but Only God can reveal such things to that being only if they are in a place to receive it.

How opened are you to TRUE worship? What is TRUE worship to you?

These Gentiles worshipped God in spirit and in truth with all their heart. Just as others practice their cultural religions and worship God with all their heart and in truth. Who am I to judge them are call them out of the lifestyle that has been given unto them? Granted I will still follow in the way of My Creator and yet at the same time remaining open to all that Yahweh is willing to show me. You see, I have learned that my God is a God of many names and these names derived from many different languages and cultures yet these people all worship the Most High! Hopefully something I have written has pricked you in such a way that you yourself would be torn and yet have to seek the Face of your creator to gain clarity. All while searching the word (scriptures) for answers and maybe even gaining insight from a spiritual leader such as a Pastor, Rabbi, Elder, or lay person.

Most importantly gaining a relationship with the Most High. By having this encounter with your creator you shall find clarity about the assumptions you have contemplated about the world. God has a plan for this world and we cannot continue to tie Yahweh down to our systems of understanding. It goes so far beyond what even we could imagine. Once you truly encounter your creator in the greatest depths your ways of thinking will be totally transformed. Your worship will be affected, you'll be called to do things you would've never thought to do and you will gain relationships with those you would've never thought to build with. Once you gain spiritual obedience it will stretch you in unpredictable directions.......

Yes this is lengthy and yet full of thought and compassion. I leave with you these inspired word of the scriptures: Romans 12:2
2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Fighting to STAY the Course...Praise confuses the adversary!

Lately my soul cries out for the Lord
I know I am enduring much not because of the times
I live in but because of whose child I am

I have been chosen to lead many while yet following
Following the Spirit of the Most High God
And my spiritual leaders Most High has chosen to guide me

There are times even in my journey when I feel downcast
Witihin my soul; but I know I serve a God that is able
Able to keep me from falling, able to sustain my walk

I put all my hope in Yahweh and yet will I praise my Lord
I remember from the lands of which I was brought and still yet tread
The lands of abuse, promiscuity, spiritual ignorance, and poverty

While I'm going through now I realize how much I've grown
Most High has kept me and given me much knowledge and wisdom

When are We going to take a stand AGAINST Bafoonery in the Entertainment Industry?

There is an email circulating around the world with the thoughts and concerns of a 15 year old girl who has taken a stand against BET! I don't know if this is truly a REAL letter but I pray that it is. For it expresses my concern as well. It has also encouraged me to write a letter. What if we all did, those who are concerned, what would happen? Here is the Letter Read it and let me know your thoughts:

Dear Debra Lee,I’m Janita Patrick, a 15-year-old African-American female from Cincinnati .. Recently, I watched the 2009 BET Awards and felt the strongest urge to reach out to the program. My family is of the typical middle-class variety; both parents and four brothers. See, I'm a junior in high school (got skipped), so naturally EVERYBODY in my age group watches BET. I'm used to seeing the sagging pants, tattoos, lack of emphasis on reading and respecting women that makes up your videos. People in my class live this out everyday, while teachers tell us that we're acting just like the people in your shows.In your shows. That struck me as odd, because I would think that with your show being the primary outlet for black entertainers and musicians, and considering the context of blacks in this country, there’s a social responsibility factor to consider. I would never blame BET alone for the way a great deal of my classmates act and talk and dress. Everybody makes their own choices.

However, if anybody is aware the power of television on impressionable minds, it’s the people running the television operations. If you are not aware, then perhaps you shouldn't be running the operations.Guess who watches your network the most? Not those who are intelligent enough to discern foolishness from substance, but those who are barely teenagers, impressionable and believing. It’s awfully cruel to plant seeds of ignorance in fertile minds. You know it’s really bad when the co-founder of BET, Sheila Johnson, said that she “really doesn't watch it” anymore.I am constantly fighting against the images and messages put forth on your program. What made you think that it’s okay to bring my classmates on stage to dance behind Lil Wayne and Drake to a song talking about boffing “every girl in the world”?

Why does reality train wrecks have to thrown in our faces? Are you aware of the achievement gap going in inner-city African-American communities? A report from America ’s Promise Alliance, a non-profit group started by Colin Powell, recently stated that 47 percent of high school students in the nation’s top 50 cities don't graduate. (Fifty-four percent of males of color in Ingham County graduated from high school, compared to 74 percent of white males). This isn’t because of BET per se, but I don’t see any episodes on your show doing anything to counteract this disturbing trend. In fact, your show is a part of this cycle of media depicting us at our worst.My older brother told me something about profit being the number one goal for every business. I’m not sure I understand what that means, but I do know that your shows have to be entertaining enough to generate viewers, which is how you make your money.

But surely our culture is rich enough to entertain without anything extra to “boost” ratings; why the over-the-top foolery? I listen to classmates talk about Baldwin Hills like it’s the Manhattan Project. It doesn’t take much effort to produce a throng of degenerative reality shows, nor does it take much to eliminate socially conscious shows off the air. MTV isn’t much better, but since when does two wrongs ever make a right? It’s one thing for white television shows to depict us in a particular way, but for black television shows to do it is baffling.Why do you hate us?All of the values that my parents seek to instill in me and my brothers seems to be contradicted by a more powerful force from the media, and your show is at the forefront. Your network is the only network that features rap videos and shows exclusively to children of my color. I know that you have no control over the music that the artists put out, but you do have influence as to how you air these videos. I'm sure if a stand was taken to use the talent in your organization to actually crank out thought-provoking entertaining shows and videos, then artists will follow suit. Being that they need you as much as you need them.There was one awkward segment in the BET Awards when Jamie Foxx singled out three black doctors-turned-authors, but the introduction was so powerless that many of the viewers had no idea who they were. Had they been introduced as Sampson Davis, Rameck Hunt and George Jenkins, three brothers who overcame major obstacles to become a success without the use of lyrics that berate women, the sell of substance that destroy communities or through raps about loose gunplay, then maybe my classmates would have come to school talking about more than Beyonce, T-Pain’s BIG ASS CHAIN and Soulja Boy Tell Em’s hopping out the bed.

But they weren’t introduced like that. It seemed like a throwaway obligatory tribute to appease some irritated fans. It missed the mark. Big time. Ask Michelle Obama if she watches BET or encourages Sasha and Malia to do so. Ask President Obama. It’s a reason he is the leader of the free world, and it isn’t because of Buffoonery Exists Today.You’d be surprised how smart young black children can be with the absence of Blacks Embarrassing Themselves. If your goal is to deter engaged, forward-thinking articulate black minds, then consider your goal fulfilled. It’s hard-pressed to think that your shows are working to promote cultural betterment. However, it’s quite easy to conclude that the destruction of black children through the glorification of immoral behavior and rushed production is by design.. Poison is being swallowed by every viewer who adores your network, and the worse thing is, these viewers - my classmates - are not even aware what they’re swallowing.

There is nothing edifying for black women on your show. I don’t judge people who do throng to your programs though; I mean, if a jet crashes in right in front of me, I’ll watch it too. That’s why I don’t flip by your channel…I don’t even want to be sucked in.I have aspirations of acquiring a law degree and possibly entering the public sphere, so I can counteract conditions in my community perpetuated by the images on your channel. So I should thank you, because in a weird sense, your shoddy programming is the wind behind my back. And it is my hope that I can accomplish my dreams despite BET’s pictorial messages, because Lord knows it won’t be because of them.

Once a Victim Now a VICTOR!!

I was once a victim of many unfortunate circumstances
My mind tends to ponder and often wonder
What would my life had been like if I was never molested

Would I be the strong woman that I am now?
Confident in my self because of the many struggles I've endured
If I had never been sexually assaulted would I be able to SAY NO to unwanted demons

If I was never promiscuous and full of drama would I be able to decipher true love now?
Had I not given my life over to my Creator would I still be a hot mess?
I know without a doubt that I have come thus far only because of GRACE

I am loved so much by my Creator that I am already deemed a VICTOR
Not just because of accomplishment and successes but because I am a chosen one
I had to grow through trial and tribulations, I had to suffer through so that I may be able to help

Help others that would endure..Like you and You!
I tell you the truth, being a victim is never any fun but
When you have made up in your mind that enough is enough
You will be healed and released from your pains

It will take time but never be ashamed, for this is nothing you have brought on yourself
It's only a stepping stone to your destiny of Victory!!
I believe in me and I believe in you and together we can build our bridge to VICTORY.
I pray strength and power for you...May you find Peace and Joy beyond your hurt

May you be all that you were born to be... Once a Victim now a VICTOR!!

The thought of me unraveled and my physical being became
The mission I'm to accomplish was wrapped up in my DNA
The roads I would travel and the valleys I would walk through
All pinned out in a map called life!!

Most High's energy filled the universe and all those whom heard the call
Answered within their spirit...Although the advesary has set traps
YAH's energy within my soul has encouraged me to live

I have chosen the source of everlasting life, one that gives true Love, Joy and Peace..
I have all that I will ever need for I have been Grown in the mind of YAH
From the beginning of times as we know it

all lives in the All in All...My most creative energy has come from within this Spirit
My existence only represents a small portion of my creator's mind
I yearn to dwell inside, to convey the message untold
But I am not fully capable of such things at this time..
One day though I will be

The Logos of Yah will be revealed and I shall totally intertwine
And know all the things that I have yearned to know all my life..
I am thankful that I was grown in the mind of YAH!

The World Knows Us Not!!..Just Me Venting!!

1 John 3:1
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

As a child of the Most High God have you ever felt that you were in the world but not of it? This is a common feeling to have. I often wondered why it seemed as though my life was just as normal as anyone else's but in all truth it was nothing like theirs. For now I realize I am a peculiar person.

The word tells us in 1Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light...

I am often reminded that I am not like the normal or average person in the secular world. I tend to revert back to my old ways of thinking sometimes once those who are still yet in the world provoke me with talk that offends the character I now possess. For that I have to ask my creator for forgiveness. In this I learn to pray for others, for they know not what they do unto me(hurting my feelings and such). I realize every one who does not share the like of life such as my self will not understand this journey.

For I am called a daughter of the Most High God and those in the world received him not so why should I expect them to receive me? I'm learning though.... Even in the lack of understanding of my peers I must do as the word of God says:

1Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing.

Even when I am tempted to tell people or even fellow brethren and sistern kind a piece of my mind I must remember the word of the Most High God.

1 Thessalonians 5:14
And we earnestly beseech you, brethren, admonish (warn and seriously advise) those who are out of line [the loafers, the disorderly, and the unruly]; encourage the timid and fainthearted, help and give your support to the weak souls, [and] be very patient with everybody [always keeping your temper].

For as it is written in Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap

So even in those moments when I am tested and judged by the theories of the world I shall remember that to them my Creator's word, my life, walk, culture, and understanding is foolishness for they have not opened themselves up to this spiritual realm of understanding. It is not my place to judge or criticize anyone and so I won't but I will speak on how I feel.

Today I am blessed in the fields, in the city, when I come and when I go. Not because of anything that I have done to deserve this but because my God loves me and he cares for me. I will forever praise and lift up Jehovah, El Elyon, Elohim, Adonai!! For the Lord is worthy! I shall cast my prayers for those who are my enemies and those who pretend to be friends. I pray much for them that their relationship with the most High God will flourish and be seasoned according to God's perfect will.

As I close this blog I will say be mindful of your position in this world! As a child of God you are in it not of it!! And if you should happen to be of it, then you are in a place where I used to be..I pray much for you that you too will join me in the land of eternity! Peace and Blessings

I's Married Now!!!

First and foremost given Honor to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I am so blessed to say that I am now married to Mr. AJ Woodson. Lord knows I thought I never would see the day when I would actually be married. Yes I always planned for it, always wanted it, had been engaged two times, but never did really think it would finally come to pass especially not like this.This shows that when you give your life to God and begin to live for him according to his perfect will, then and only then shall you recieve the desires of your heart! 3 years ago I made a promise unto God that I would change my ways and do as much as I could to live a life pleasing unto Jehovah. (Seek ye the kingdom of God first and everything else shall be added unto you!!)Since then I have been growing spiritually and the Lord has shown me favor.

No I'm not perfect! I don't always do things right but I strive to do as best I can. I live daily and allow the ressurection of Christ to live within me everyday. I make a conscious descision to do the will of my creator. Why am I telling you this, you may ask? because I am a living witness to what my God can do. as my life's motto goes "there is no success without struggle!" so along this journey there has been many obstacles but All Praises be unto the Most High God that I am still here.I realize this union is not just for my enjoyment but for employment and my service has just now been elevated. I will do my fathers will until I die. No weapon formed against me shall prosper! I am on the Lord side and Jehovah's got my back! The Lord is my light and salvation, Whom shall I fear? I will stand on the solid rock for life.Thank you Spiritual Minded Fam for all your support love and prayers... Once again To God be all the glory!! The journey has just begun!

August: Women's Month @ Shaw Temple

This month is women's month at Shaw Temple and Great things are happening. I was delighted to start the month off with a retreat in Toccoa, GA at Toccoa Falls with the women of Shaw. We spent two days fellowshipping, praying, meditating, learning and growing together. I was really intrigued by the breakout sessions facilitated by some of our very on ordained evangelists of Shaw Temple. The roster was as follows; Francilla Allen, Merchuria "Chase" Williams, Andrea Jallah, Kristen Berry, and Andrea Jones.
My favorite session was Mind, body, and Spirit facilitated by Rev. Andrea Jones.I was really moved by this session and I felt the power and annointing of God move during this session. God allowed me to see the great work he was doing through my sistah (Rev. Jones). She truly empowered me and gave a great word of encouragement to my spirit.
All my life I had wanted to fellowship with the women of God on a retreat, but I often hesitated because of the stereotypes of hackling women and gossiping going on. I have never been one for the drama!! I am relieved and honored to say though, through this retreat because, I kept my eyes on God all worked together for the good!!
The retreat was followed (a week later) by a Mother daughter bruncheon that me and my daughters attended and really enjoyed! It was another opportunity for fellowship and worship. I praise God for my sisters at Shaw for this is truly what has helped me to grow as a better chrsitian woman. Iron sharpens iron.

This past Saturday was a charitible event...the ladies got together to give products needed to the community-Back to school items, and they also provided things for battered mothers in shelters. I wasn't able to attend because I got married on this day but I look forward to the next couple of events that will be ending this years women's month @ Shaw Temple. Please check out the upcoming events on our website @ www.shawtemple.org The extravaganza will be held on August 30th 2009 at Shaw Temple @ 3pm There will be selections rendered by the women's 100 choir and praises unto God shall go up for another successful year of the women's months events. All praises be unto the Most High God.

Hebrews 9:27 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face Judgment.We are all blessed with one life to live...Some of us are blessed to leave a great impression on many. In Micheal's case it was Millions, he touched the lives of many. He will forever be missed. as I am still in the mourning of my cousin Ashton J. Bridges I now realize that mourning goes on for a while. I pray much for his Mother, Father sisters and brothers as well as his children. Although Micheal's music will be with us forever we won't see him in this life again.

Ecclesiastes 8:8 There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

I pray that all those who were touched by MJ will be moved in such a way that the event of his death will draw them closer to our higher source of being..God, Jehovah, Elohim! Only God can heal the hearts of his family and fans. Only God can give them the Peace that their hearts will yearn for. Only the Holy spirit can comfort them at this time. I pray now like never before that the Holy spirit will move in the hearts of those who loved this man, Micheal Jackson...That they might be drawn unto God seeking growth and relationship...Therefore giving themselves an opportunity to reunite with MJ in spirit.

As a kid at family events I was always encouraged to do my Micheal Jackson routine... I mean I would do the moon walk and all that!! Although as I grew older I grew to like other artists MJ was where it all started for me. I am moved in spirit by his passing as I now reflect on how real this is. Another Great artist, human being, friend, brother, father, son, has passed on into the next realm of life... Let us remember the GOOD times...He truly Rocked our world!

I truly believe MJ's soul was tired and God saw fit to call him home...We never know the day nor the hour we shall leave this place so let us make the best of the time we have.

Feeling Spiritually anemic?

As a spiritual person have you ever wondered why there are pockets of your life where you just feel drained and fatigue? I have found that even within our spiritual walks we can become anemic.

In our day to day walks of life we allow ourselves to be filled with the garbage of the world. Have you ever heard of the saying what you put in is what you get out? Well this holds true in the physical aspect as well as the spiritual. Watching constant television that encourages you to seek out material wealth and gain, the exploitation of women and sex, and the violence of action packed dramatizations. Too much of any of these things without postive balances can be detrimental to your very spiritual being.

The music we listen to, the clothes we wear, the friends we entertain, the substances we ingest, all these factors play their roles in the outcome of our being. This is considered in the physical and spiritual. How much time do you spend reading and digesting the word of God? How much time do you fellowship with sister and brethren of your like mind in the spiriual realm? How much time do you spend worshipping? All this may determine whether or not you shall become spiritually anemic.

Would you only eat junk food all the days of your life and never indulge in fruit, grains, poultry and vegetables. Things that will give energy and sources of proteins, vitamins, along with a wealth of great strength.

What then does the word of God say about such things? Jesus reminds us that our true sustenance comes from Jehovah...

Matthew 4:4
Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."

Look deep within yourself and see if you have been depriving yourself of the nutrients that God has for you. If so you may want to take the time now to make things right. Restructure your diet and plan to get a greater source of health wealth in Jehovah than of this world.

Have you ever wondered about the reason of your existence?
I mean one day you were born and then you shall die.
What about the life in between? The experiences ...Love, joys, pains...
What purpose do we serve as a people being here on earth?

The bible says..

We have been created by God for His pleasure, not our own (Revelation 4:11)

What then you ask is our purpose? It is our destiny to seek and find the answers to this quest....

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour." (Psalm 8:3-5)

I am glad that I have the opportunity to be..exist in this place we call earth.. I deem it necessary to grasp the true meaning of mine own existence. Finding purpose in my Faith and in my Creator!!

What are you here for?? Do you really care??

FREE..Eternal Life!!

Romans 6:22
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

I often times wonder what the term FREE really means.. There always seems to be a catch or cost involved! I have learned though that FREE in the spiritual realm has a greater conotation. Although there is a very high and yet costly price in my salvation, I did not have to pay it. Yeshua (Jesus) Paid it All!! I now have the right to a freedom of eternal life... Free from the bonds of sin!

Titus 3:7
so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

The Ankh is the symbol of eternal life often spoken of as the key of life. Here lies a symbol that represents an everlasting life. A life where there is no pain, sorrow, worries or fears. I am grateful that I have found that true abounding life starts by living for Christ. I have learned the importance of living a Godly life and following in the ways of the Lord.

1John 2:24-25 See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what he promised us—even eternal life.

There will be times when you feel this life is worthless, full of pain, with no hope!! Don't allow yourself to stay in that place of thought! Embrace God's love and all the plans he has for your life. Seek him in all his glory, then he will show you the mysteries of this earth that shall lead into your life of eternity. Don't be enslaved by the evils of this world. Give your soul unto God in words thoughts and deeds. He longs for you to hear his voice!! Surrender...Submit...by this I promise you will truly be blessed.

I am truly glad that I have recieved Love from the Most High God... I praise him and give him honor even now that I am able to share my testimony with you. He has changed me in so many ways. I am better now, wiser, and stronger. I am truly complete with Most High regining in my life. I will continue to profess the gospel of my Lord and savior that I may be a blessing unto others who are in need. Believe me, if God can change me from what I once was so that I am humble in spirit..surely he will do the same for you. He wants you to be FREE!! Let the SPIRIT of MOST HIGH free you!!

Storms of LIfe

There are times in our lives when storms seem inevitable. Truth be told you are either in a storm, coming out of one, are about to go into one. That's the stories of our lives. God allows us to go through certain things sometimes for our own good.. Other times it is to benefit someone else, so that they might see how you maintain through it all. Quite often you will find that God may be working something out in you. You character, your strength, and patience levels may all need to be put under fire. Therefore God allows the trials to come.

I have found that it is best to praise my way through and be very diligent about seeking God. I ask him to show me what it is I am supposed to learn or gain from the storm. I listen for the word and I wait on the Holy Spirit to move!!

Job13:15 "Though they slay me, yet will I hope in him!"

It is up to us to grab hold of God during these times more than ever before...Don't allow the circumstance or the enemy to keep you from growth during your storms of life. I am thankful to be in the spiritual place I am now. I am learning more and more about my Creator every day. It would behoove you to do the same. Learn for yourself! Seek out the knowledge of God. He will add unto you all that you need, so that when these storms of life come forth you can STAND! It is important as believers that we KNOW our FAITH and LIVE it!

There are many mysteries in the mind of God and a portion of them is for us to adhere to and take hold of. We will never be able to contain all of God's knowledge but those things he deems to share with us, if we are faithful and seek him, he will share.

I have said all this to say in your storms of life do not forget that God is the All in All in the all which means nothing exist without Our Creator and nothing comes forth without Our Creator's permission! Everything you go through he has allowed...even though we have free will and free choice and sometimes are often culprits to our own demise...God still has the last say so. avenues can be made to turn things around in our favor. Have you ever heard that saying that God works everything to the good for those who love him. Well it is true.

Even in our storms of Life God will recalibrate us in the direction we should go, if only we would seek him! Do not be discouraged my brothas and sistahs. The Storms of life will come and go. You have the choice to submit your will to Our Creator and let him lead you through!!

Psalm 16:8 I have set the Lord always before me

1Thessalonians 5:16-18 Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

Every day the Lord gives me another chance to give honor unto him..
At times I don't always make the right decisions but he knows my heart
It is my desire to please my Heavenly Father
To become all which he has deemed me to be

Recently God has enlightened me with the beauties of his
Wisdom and existance ...I am feeling him like never before
All because I have opened up the door
The door to the endless possibilities of my creator...
Now all I must do is allow him to move in my life as he should

That is why I pray "Order my steps in your way dear Lord!"
For if I am to be like him I must allow him to lead me
And guide me everyday.....
For some will never open their hearts unto him
But for those who do, they are the chosen
For it is God's will that no man should perish....
but to begin to live a life totally honoring and worshipping HIM!

On today where are you in your spiritual journey?
Have you decided to open the door unto Our Creator?
Are you yet seeking all there is to know and gain in the spiritual realm while here on earth?
Or are you just living never tapping into all the possibilities of wisdom that could be gained?

Obama begins his reign-the Dream has begun

In the Holy Bible, in the gospel Habakkuk 1:5 it says "Look at the nations and watch and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something that you would not believe even if you were told." The Lord spoke to one of his servants to let him know of the plans that were to come.

My Lord is a forever God, nonchanging, constant in all his ways. In the early years of Martin Luther King Jr. God gave him a vision and a dream. One that many deemed to destroy. They figured if they followed in the ways of their evil ancestors and kill the dreamer that the dream would be lost as well.

Genesis 37:19-20 "Here Comes the Dreamer!", they said to each other. "Come now let's kill him and throw him into the cisterns and say that a ferocious animal devoured him. Then we'll see what comes of his dreams."

In Martin's day his enemy deemed assasinating him would kill the dream, little did they know God had a greater plan. You see our Creator knows the future for he is already there as well as being in the present and the past. God knows the plans he has for us to prosper us and not harm us. It is his desire that his people would submit themselves unto him and become a faithful and worshipping nation unto him.

The Lord has chosen Barak Obama to be the continuation for Martin's dream! There are many who will play apart of this dream continuing to unfold. We must realize that this is not about US! It never was. It is about our Creator and savior Jesus Christ!! Let us do as we should in our part to assist this nation and the leader that Our creator has appointed. Let us appreciate the trials that have come before him, i.e. Bush... For if it were not for them we would not have hope for a better day.

Obama's campaign message was for Change and Hope. You cannot have either of these with out Faith. I can't think of a better entity to hav faith in other than having it in My Lord and Savior! Trust in the Lord and know that change has come and is still forth coming because he has allowed the dream to live on even in generations to come.

God Bless Barak Obama, his family, administration, this nation and the world as a whole!!
To God be the Glory...For his words are coming forth as pure gold!!

STILL STANDING!! God's Greater purpose for me!!

When I look back over my life and see how God has brought me ... My soul cries out with praise!! Let me just share with you, I pray you have a minute. I was born on September 6, 1978. Shortly after my delivery of coming into the world the Doctor declared that I had viral meningitis. They told my mother I may not live long. I stayed in the hospital for 3months.. Then I had to be seen once a month for 6 months and then I was under the doctor's care once a month for five years.

Also when I was three my house caught fire and I was in the same room the fire started. Then again at the age of eight a second fire ravished my family's home. Once again I was in the house.. this time alone! While enduring all these things from the ages of 5-11 I was sexually molested! By the time I became a teenager I was very promiscuous in sex acts and I had low self esteem allowing boys and men to have their way with me.

Of course good things happened throughout this time as well. I maintained an A average throughout all my school years. Winning Spelling Bees, Honor Roll, attending honor classes in high school and Graduating in the top twenty of my class. God blessed me with a beautiful daughter in 1998 and another in 2000. Not every one is able to have children therefore I truly look at my seed as blessings from on high!

Even through all my trials and tribulations God kept me! He has a greater purpose and plan for my life. He allowed me to endure so that my life would be a testimony for others to see the GREATNESS of God in my life, cause yet I stand! Even now I must proclaim that grace, mercy and most of all the LOVE of God is what has kept me over the years. I had always been in church as long as I can remember back to the age of four. At the age of 28 I decided to start really living my life for God by any means necessary!

I began to study the word of God, pray more, assemble at a great church (Shaw Temple AME) for worship and walk in the life God had called me to. He has always blessed me and kept me but I have found favor in his eyes since I have begun to live a more obedient life unto him. I have been blessed with great spiritual friends, leaders and a great man of God in my life as my siginificant other! I realize now more than ever that my life's tests, struggles, obstacles, etc. are all just building blocks for me to become the great woman of God that I am and are yet still growing into.

I am thankful..very thankful! If you look back over your life I am sure you will find you own building blocks that were set before you to make you the person you are today. Well there is more to come... For Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord"plans to prosper you not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

God has already ordained your purpose in life it is up to you to choose it!
I am still standing for a purpose, and I choose to walk in the purpose God has for me... Be encouraged my sistahs and brothas and know that God is God! Walk in purpose..for this is the reason why God has allowed you to still stand!

Wow! Its that time of year when we celebrate the coming of my Savior. The day he entered into this world! He came so that we might have life and have it more abundantly. Although society would have you believe that Christmas time is just about gifts, family and food, that's the contrary. We should be taking this time to remember Christs coming and daily prepare for his return. Life is short but filled with an array of events. You only get one life on this side of Jordan where you will be able to choose whom you will serve.... Jesus Christ-Yeshua, Alpha & Omega-I AM, Lord of all...

I know we're all entitled to our own beliefs and when we take time to think truly about why we yet live.. We have to be honest with ourselves and realize that it goes beyond just us and our humaness. I just want to be able to say unto my God that I spoke of him to all I could in this life. So that when my judgment day comes He will say unto me well done thy good and faithful servant! Well Done...

Don't just take my word, search the Living word for yourself..Get to know God and Christ for yourself..See won't it make a difference in your life. The Bible says oh taste and see that the Lord is good and his mercies endure forever...

Well as for me and my house we will serve the Lord, Christ..Always!

Hebrews 11:1-3 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.This is was the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand the universe was formed by God's command so that what is seen was not made out what is visible!!

Brian Nichols Case in ATL~Capitol Punishment-The Death Penalty ...For or against?

I have always been against capitol punishment! Although I know there are some instances in the Bible where the word speaks of an eye for eye etc. But we live now in a different Era of laws. For those who are not familiar with the case of Brain Nichols of Atlanta I have inserted some information from Wikipedia Encyclopedia... I was truly touched by this case from the beginning, always feeling there was something peculiar about the whole thing.

My prayers have been answered and Brian is not facing the death penalty anymore at this time. He has to serve life in prison! he can still be tried in the federal court system though. I feel deeply for those who lost their family members in this tragic incident but I do believe Brian deserves a second chance..WWJD? Anyways I pray that this brother be released from all demonic spirits and that his soul be surrendered unto God. I pray that he seeks the face of God and gain salvation so that he may have eternal life.

I know it may seem a little strange coming from me... but I truly believe in unconditional love and I have had to endure some similiar encounters against my self and loved ones, but not until death. But detrimental enough to cause emotional scars for a lifetime and for those who caused the pain in my life and my loved ones lives I pray for them even still. I have forgiven them and moved on to what God has for me...

I believe It is truly impossible to live with such hate and malice towards one another. I know we are all human and of course we are allotted to our feelings of frustration and anger but there comes a time when we must walk in the way of the Lord. I know this is easier said than done but this is my take on it. May the Lord continue to bless all those who have been affected by this case. I pray that they may gain peace, understanding, and comfort in their time of need.As for Brian every day he still yet lives he has an opportunity to get his life right with God.......

Brian Gene Nichols (born December 10, 1971) is known for his escape and killing spree in the Fulton county courthouse in Atlanta, Georgia on March 11, 2005. Nichols was on trial for rape when he escaped from custody and murdered the judge presiding over his trial, a court reporter, a Sheriff's Deputy and later a Federal agent. A huge manhunt was launched in metro Atlanta and Nichols was taken into custody 26 hours later. The prosecution charged him with committing 54 crimes during the escape and he was found guilty on all counts on November 7, 2008
What little is known about Nichols' early life is that he came from a middle class family.

He attended the Cardinal Gibbons School[1] in Baltimore, Maryland until 1989 but he did not receive a diploma. He attended college at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, for three semesters from 1989 to 1990. While attending the college he played linebacker on their football team. Nick Pergine, who played football with Nichols at Kutztown, said Nichols' massive physical presence and martial-arts skills earned him a reputation as someone to be careful around. Jake Williams, who coached Nichols at Kutztown, compared Nichols' physique (6'1" and 210 lbs) with that of NFL star John Mobley, who also played at the university.

Berks County records show that Nichols had been arrested at least three times during his short stay at the university. In 1990, he was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment, stemming from an incident in a university dining hall, according to court documents. He pleaded guilty to the two lesser charges and the others were dropped.

The next year, Nichols was arrested twice in a month for criminal trespassing, misdemeanor criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Those charges were later dropped. After his brief stay at Kutztown, Nichols went to Newberry College from 1992 to 1993, and played football there. Athletic spokesman Ryan Gross said that during that time Nichols was kicked off the football team for stealing from a dorm room.

After dropping out of school, Nichols moved to Georgia in 1995. He worked for Hewlett-Packard for eight years, as a UNIX systems engineer.[2] Nichols last employment was working as a computer engineer for a logistics subsidiary of Atlanta-based shipping giant UPS. Company spokesman Norm Black says Nichols joined the unit in March 2004 and left in September 2004, which was when he was arrested in the rape case.[3] According to his brother, Nichols earned a six-figure income and regularly attended church. He was arrested after being charged with the brutal assault of his former girlfriend of 8 years after their break up. After discovering that she was dating Chris Rowell, a minister from their church, Nichols forced his way into her home, bound her with duct tape at gun point and raped her. He was charged with rape, aggravated assault with intent to rape, aggravated sodomy, burglary, false imprisonment and possession of a firearm during commission of a crime. The first case had ended in a mistrial with a hung jury. Nichols had told people in the courthouse "I'm not going to go lying down" when he learned that he would be retried. Nichols’ friends warned the DA’s office he might try to escape and one friend told prosecutors that Nichols planned to escape and asked him to leave a credit card in the pocket of the suit jacket he would wear to court. Nichols mother also emailed the Fulton County Sheriff's Office to tell them she believed her son may try to take an officers weapon.

The retrial began the next week and the tension heightened even further 2 days before the crime spree when deputies escorting Nichols from the courthouse to his jail cell noticed something in his shoes. They found two sharp "shanks," common jailhouse weapons fashioned out of metal which possibly came from a door hinge. Nichols also taunted Assistant District Attorney Gayle Abramson and Assistant District Attorney Ash Joshi during the retrial by saying "you're doing a much better job this time" and he was apparently aware that his case was going poorly. The actions prompted Judge Barnes to have a meeting the day before the escape with counsel and he asked for extra security during Nichols scheduled testimony that Friday since the prosecution in the rape case had planned to call its last witness that day and jury deliberations were upon him. Nichols would have faced life in prison if convicted...end

You ever felt like every where you went somebody knew your name...Well I had that going on for me alot back in my worldly days but now so much more than ever... Now that I am saved. Although now they are calling my name because of who my Heavenly Father is...They see God in me and are drawn to me by his presence.I am so grateful to God for his spirit that lives within me...for the word in Psalms 91:15 says He will call upon me and I will answer him, I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him...Isaiah 43:7,9 says everyone who is called by name, whom I created for my glory whom I formed and made..all the nations gather together and the people assemble...

God has called us and we have called upon him and still can at any given moment.. I have realized that when you become a servant of God you are called upon just as much to do the will of the Lord. It is his desire that no man should perish. It is our mission to reach as many lost souls as we can. Encouraging our brothers and sisters in this journey along the way.Not only on Sunday morning or during the holiday seasons but every day of our lives...

The streets are calling me and I can no longer ignore what my Savior has instore for me. I have professed to be a Great woman of God and now it is time for me to walk in my calling. I have no fear and I know that Most High is with me always. His rod and staff comforts me. Although I will walk through the valley and shadows of death I will FEAR NO EVIL!! I shall run this race with much faith endurance knowing that it is won by the one who endures to the end.I know where my heart lies...Whatever you cherish in your heart you will allow yourself to adhere to and become one with. I cherish My Heavenly father, My Creator, My Savior...

What Has God called you to that you have not answered to? Open up to him he will lead you in all things if only you would surrender yourself totally unto him...Mind, Body, and Soul!

This is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it! I have been tarrying for a while now and I have come to a conclusion...
Life was given to me that I might worship and praise my creator all while enduring lifes pains and sorrows, joys and pains. In this journey if I should allow myself to draw near to thee I will gain a better insight of what this journey entells for me.
I am glad that My creator thought enough of me to give me life...He loved me so to bless me with children, a Husband to be and loved ones who love me so but most of all he loves me so that he gave his only begotten SON that I may have eternal life...
There is no GREATER love than that!
All praises unto him ABBA Father...
You are worthy...blessed be he in the highest
I will forever worship and praise his name...no matter the trials ..success..valley lows I will forever be grateful!! Forever...Thank you Father you are wonderful and high and lifted up!

This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it......On this morning at 10:20 am my favorite cousin Ashton J. Bridges past away... He was only 24 years young! He lived a great life...although it was filled with heartaches, pain and sorrow. He learned that the greatest LOVE of all is God and in Christ Jesus. My cousin loves the Lord and he demonstrated that much in his life struggles to live the best he could pleasing unto God... He touched the lives of many and he will never be forgotten.. I have learned to cherish every moment of the lives of your loved ones for you never know the day or the hour they will depart. Most High I will forever praise your name.. I honor you even still-You are worth of all my Praise!

You ever doubt yourself because of your shortcomings? This is a common thing. Are you constantly reliving the mistakes of your past and preventing yourself from success in the future?

Maybe you have a limited education, you have a jail record, your family is poor, and people have messed over you all your life? Now that the economy is slow and everything you used to do as a side hustle has dried up it hard to eat these days.Whatever has held you back in the past doesn’t have to limit where you go from this point on.

The good news is you can move past the scars of yesterday. God never consults your past to determine your future. So stop looking at where you have been and start looking at where you are going. Stop advertising your pain. Stop concentrating on your short comings. There isn’t a person walking God’s green Earth that doesn’t have some sort of limitations.

We all have handicaps so to speak one way or another. Some are financial, some are emotional or mental, and some are physical. But the bottom line is we all have short comings.

Trust His power and hold on. He will give you the strength to keep from falling - Isaiah 40:31.

Success is to be measured not so much by the positionthat one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed.

I am going to start taking advantage of the usage of this site and all it's components..
So here we go!

Embrace God's Love

In life we so often times search for love in all the wrong places ... If we were to be truthful to ourselves and others we could admit that even through all our searching we still feel a void!
May be you haven't ventured into this search for what some call love. Maybe for you it is a conquest for fame, wealth, a decent socioeconomic status... Whatever the case maybe when you come to terms with it, though you may succeed, there is still that void lurking.

Well let me let you in on a little secret there is one who can fill the void like no other.. If you accept him he can take you to a place where your longing will be edfied with the fulfilling of his spirit. The best part of this is that it is an eternal gift..not just for the moment but for a lifetime.
I believe in a higher power than myself.. this power resides within me every day for I have recieved it.. He is the Alpha and Omega, I AM, The Lord of Lords, The TRUTH, The Light, he is God.. All by himself being an entity of three.

The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit... The Trinity. My Savior is The Christ-Yeshua
My rock .... For some you may have searched all your life for the perfect man or woman, career, business venture etc.. Look no further for here lies the answer to all you questions if only you would Embrace God's Love ... This is truly the beginning to an eternal life of Victory!

God's word is quite evident and quite refreshing love covers a multitude of things...
1Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is Patient, Love is kind. It does not envy it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, it always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres...Love never fails.

God is Love and Love is God
Truly if you are to embrace God's love you shall recieve all that comes along with his love...
