Of course there are too many to mention but my favorite was De Ja Vu
It was nostalgic to me and I wonder how as a child I connected with you
Growing up to you melodies were a blessing in disguise

Who knew you would pave the way for many that would come after you
Such as Mariah Carey, PINK, Christina Agulierra and many more
All I know is that there will never be anotha like you LADY T

Through it all you rose to the top
Battling the demons of your past and facing the promise of your future
Its hard for me to write this because I truly dont know your fate

But I pray that somewhere in between time
You met our Creator and accepted that call on your life
So that now you are resting safe in the Masters arms

My prayer now is that your daughter will have a blessed
And prosperous life never forgetting from whence she came
Knowing that her mom touched the lives of many

The After Life- Everlasting

One day my spirit will be present before the ALMIGHTY
Alpha & Omega.. On that day my spirit shall be weighed
Declaring if my deeds of life have sufficed, determining where
I shall spend eternal life

You ever wonder what it will be like for your flesh to fall fast asleep
To awaken in the spiritual atmosphere where you & the creator shall meet
The environment will be like none you have ever seen, what it truly
Is not even me nor you can conceive

To be in the presence of Most High and sing praises unto YHWH
Is a lifelong quest of mine, but then I wonder what will it really
Be like? Time after time… Am I truly ready to meet that unknown destiny?
T he after life is everlasting… is it not?

Spirits of all mankind shall adjourn all in one place
First to be judged without haste and then for those who
Are chosen & who lived up to their calling
Our names shall be revealed in the Lambs book of life

When every knee has bowed and every tongue confessed
The everlasting after life shall begin
There will be praising forevermore; there I shall meet my Savior
T he Cherubim and my Guardian Angels

Rejoicing in praise unto Most High shall be our lives
For those who won’t make it to where we dwell
T here will be gnashing of teeth and they will
Burn endlessly, such a sad ending especially
W hen it could have been prevented

In this life I will now prepare for the afterlife everlasting
And you should too if you dare!!
Don’t put off tomorrow what should be done today
Choose life eternal, JESUS is the way.

Build your relationship with Most High
Let your praise be heard and make your presence known
Don’t leave eternal up to chance, seek the kingdom today

Are you Promotable?

Often times God will allow us to go through situations and circumstances just to see how we will respond? Will we whine, complain, or yet praise God in the midst of the trials and give thanks knowing that God will make a way somehow!! I must say I am guilty of whining and complaining sometimes..."Lord, why me? why now? Aren't I already going through enough?"


But yet daily my prayer is for God to make me more like YHWH's character, to align my steps with his will. And so as God begins to transform me and put me through the FIRE to PURIFY me I whine... lol I could hear God saying are you serious Kenya? You are equipped for this woman up and seek me I will help you only if you turn to me, use the strength that I have given you...


Hebrews 11:1-2 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for...


Philippians 4:4-7 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.


I have learned that even in those trying and uncomfortable times GOD is permitting these tests and trials so that my character might be built and so I may learn to persevere and have endurance. For it matters not how quickly you win the race but how you endure throughout. Let us take time today to look within ourselves and look at the situations around us. What is God teaching us today? How are you responding to your issues? Are you trusting and believing in God no matter what is right before you...The world may say one thing about your economic status, your marriage, your children, family, you health, etc.. But God has the last say so!


Romans 5:3-4 Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.


For those who say..Well Lord I am doing all that you asked of me! I'm tithing, feeding and clothing the homeless..etc Why is this happening to me? Well the bible says:


Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.


Romans 2:7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.

Hebrews 10:36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

So remember the next time you are going through what seems to be the most horrible situation at the most inopportune time, that perhaps God just wants to see if you are ready for the next level!! The next blessing that he has prepared for you and your response to the situation will decide how soon you receive what your heart desires..

My prayer for you this day is that you become PROMOTABLE according to the will of God and by the strength and word that is embedded in you from on high. Believe me I am yet walking in this now you are not alone but together we can make it!!! How? We are more than conquerors in CHRIST JESUS!!
